Edwin and Kathleen Jones are proud to announce the opening of their Property Letting Agency.

With a total nearly sixteen years property letting experience between them in Eastbourne, Edwin and Kathleen may already be well known to many associated with the local property market.

Edwin has acquired a self-taught, in-depth knowledge of the residential letting business over the past twelve years, working for Chesters Letting Agency at the Enterprise Centre. He has only decided to part company with them so that he will be able to provide landlords with the individual and personal service that he believes they would wish for, and should receive, when they employ the services of a letting agency. He strongly believes that good landlords deserve good tenants, good tenants deserve good landlords, and both deserve a good managing agent.

Kathleen, a native Texan with an international accent, came to England and married Edwin some five years ago. She brings with her a combination of rare talents having enjoyed a wealth of diverse office management experience, where she gained knowledge of all of the state-of-the-art communications and computer technology in the USA. Her extensive commercial experience is backed by a degree in Business Administration and Accounting which she gained at Texas Christian University (TCU ) in Ft. Worth, Texas in 1981.

The newly formed Edwin Jones Properties offers rental landlords a choice of management options ranging from an introduction-only or initial management to the full management option that many absentee landlords tend to favour. The first two options are designed to meet the needs of many of today’s “hands-on” landlords who wish to let their properties but do not have the time or the inclination to seek out suitable tenants themselves. Additionally, and perhaps for them, more importantly, they do not wish to pay ongoing management commission to an agent, for something they are quite capable of doing themselves. The full management option however takes away all of the routine management activities from already busy property owners and places these tasks in the hands of someone who is well qualified and able to carry them out for only a relatively economic outlay.
